The flower of life is a very special symbol, but what is its purpose and how can it be used?

What is the purpose of the flower of life?

This symbol of sacred geometry is so ancient that we don’t really know the origin of its creation. It has been found in various regions of the Earth, at different times, in several sacred buildings.

The oldest known observation to date was found in the palace of King Assurbanipal in Dur-Sharrukin in Assyria, dating back to 645 BC.

Another representation of the flower of life was discovered on one of the granite columns of the Temple of Osiris in Abydos, a city of ancient Egypt.

Abydos is the first place of worship of Osiris, the god of the Dead, and seemed to represent the passage to eternity for the ancient Egyptians. Abydos, as the cult center of Osiris, was then the main access to the afterlife.

The symbol of the flower of life encompasses many geometric shapes such as the Platonic solids, the Metatron’s cube, the Vesica Piscis, or even Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Vitruvian Man. This takes us into the universe of sacred geometry. These are perfect proportioned forms, as we can contemplate them in nature. Based on the golden ratio (PHI), it served as a foundation for the construction of famous monuments such as the pyramids, cathedrals, and ancient temples.

It would be present in absolutely everything, in cells, molecular structures… and would be the origin of life itself.

The Platonic solids are five regular polyhedra that possess unique characteristics as the basis of all structures. These are the tetrahedron, hexahedron (or cube), octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron.

These geometric symbols are regular convex polyhedra and there are only five of them. Indeed, to be regular, a polyhedron must have the same number of regular polygons at each of its vertices. In addition, the sum of the angles at the vertex of the regular polygons must be strictly less than 360°.

From the mathematical point of view, Euler’s formula (F+S-A=2), where F is the number of faces, A is the number of edges, and S is the number of vertices, is verified for the Platonic solids.

In the field of energy, the Platonic solids are used for healing as they optimize a person’s vibrational rate. They connect the chakras to universal energy, thus strengthening the light bodies.

The Flower of Life is a form wave that contributes to raising the vibrational rate of a person or a space. Form waves are the vibrations generated or amplified by a shape.

The flower of life can also be used for food and beverages, essential oils, etc…

How to use the flower of life?

This sacred symbol can be used in multiple ways. Its mere presence in a room has a harmonizing effect. It elevates vibrations by restructuring what is discordant.

It can be used to revitalize water and improve food preservation.

It can be used as a talisman, worn as jewelry (pendant, bracelet, earrings…) or on clothing. Some choose this pattern as a tattoo. If you’re not sure on which part of your body to tattoo the flower of life, you can start with a temporary tattoo.

It can also be used as a meditation support or to recharge stones and crystals.

It can also be used to create crystal healing and harmonizing grids.

How to activate the flower of life?

On the spiritual energy level, this form wave is a vibration that connects us to the Authentic Source of all life, that is the divine.

To enjoy its beneficial properties, it is not necessary to activate or do anything. It acts infinitely to rebalance our energies. The effects can be noticeable on the mental, physical, and emotional levels.

Energy workers talk about activating the flower of life in the context of energy work, to anchor the symbols.

But in everyday use, there is nothing special to do, except sending thoughts of love and harmony if you want to intensify its action.

How to draw the flower of life?

The Flower of Life is composed of 19 regularly spaced circles that overlap symmetrically.

Although at first glance this drawing may seem difficult to reproduce, it is actually quite easy once you understand how it is formed.

The indispensable tool is, of course, the compass, and a support.

Take your compass and draw a first circle. While keeping the same radius, draw a second circle by placing the compass tip on a point of the first circle’s line. You will notice that the intersections are in fact the centers of each circle.

Then, place the compass tip on one of the intersections of the two circles previously drawn, and draw a third circle. Continue to draw the four other circles using the same method and you will obtain the seed of life.

Afterwards, add 12 additional circles around the seed of life following the same procedure.

Done? Perfect, all that’s left is to add the semicircles to complete the figure.

There you go, that was rather easy, wasn’t it?
