Everything you need to know about the Flower of Life

Since the 1980s, the Flower of Life has intrigued and sparked discussions; in 1999, Drunvalo Melchizedek published a two-volume book titled “The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life,” which is the most comprehensive work on the subject to date.
Obviously, the flower of life is intriguing, but what exactly is it?

n
Definition and origins of the Flower of Life:

The Flower of Life is a very ancient geometric figure. It has been found on numerous ancient monuments in various parts of the world.
The oldest known representation of the “overlapping circles” pattern dates back to the 7th or 6th century BC. It was found on the threshold of the palace of the Assyrian king Ashurbanipal in Dur-Sharrukin (now at the Louvre).
Another pattern has also been found drawn on the granite columns of the temple of Osiris in Abydos, Egypt; it is a representation with five patterns of 19 overlapping circles.
It is formed by 19 regularly spaced circles that overlap symmetrically.

n
How to draw the Flower of Life?

The indispensable tool is undoubtedly the compass. Define a spacing and keep it throughout the tracing, as all the circles have the same radius.
Start by drawing a first circle, then a second one by placing the compass tip on a point of the first circle; the second circle will necessarily pass through the center of the first one. Then continue like this and draw as many circles as you want. In fact, this pattern can be reproduced infinitely.

n
Flower of Life and Sacred Geometry:

The Flower of Life is a figure of sacred geometry. It is said to contain many symbols of sacred geometry, such as the Platonic solids, Metatron’s Cube, the Vesica Piscis, the Fibonacci sequence… Other symbols, such as the Seed of Life, the Tree of Life, and the Germ of Life, are derived from it.
It is even thought to be linked to the famous drawing by Leonardo da Vinci entitled “Vitruvian Man,” reproducing the human body constructed according to divine proportions.
The Flower of Life is said to be directly related to the golden ratio and divine proportion, which were supposedly used to construct the pyramids of Egypt and the cathedrals.
Some believe that it is present absolutely everywhere, in all cells, atoms, and molecular structures, and may even be the origin of life.

n
What is Sacred Geometry?

These are special figures due to their proportions or that seem intimately connected to the golden ratio (or Phi ratio). They can be found in ancient monuments, nature, and even the human body.
Let’s detail below the main figures of sacred geometry:

Platonic Solids:

Also known as Platonic solids, these are five polyhedra with unique properties. Their surfaces have the same area; the edges of each Platonic solid have identical lengths; the angles formed by all the edges are the same; if any Platonic solid is placed in a sphere that circumscribes it at all points, all its vertices touch the inner surface of the sphere.
The Platonic solids are the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron.

Metatron’s Cube:

It is one of the most powerful symbols of sacred geometry. It is said to be the hidden figure in the Fruit of Life, according to Drunvalo Melchizedek.

Merkaba:

It is the light body of the human being. In his book, Drunvalo Melchizedek explains the origin of this word. In Hebrew, Mer-Ka-Vah literally means “God’s throne” and “chariot” or “carriage”; in Egyptian, Mer-Ka-Ba breaks down into Mer, which means “light field,” Ka meaning “spirit,” and Ba representing the human body. It is actually the light body of the human being.

Vesica Piscis:

It is one of the most prominent figures in the flower of life and one of the most significant ratios. The Vesica Piscis is the geometric figure formed by the intersection of two circles of the same diameter, with the center of each circle belonging to the circumference of the other. Also known as the almond shape, this figure is considered one of the keys to Pythagorean esotericism.

Seed of Life:

The Seed of Life is at the center of the flower of life. It is composed of seven circles, like the seven days of creation. Composed of six circles plus a central circle, a total of seven, it can be considered as consisting of seven germs of life.

n
What are the benefits of the Flower of Life?

The Flower of Life is a form wave that harmonizes everything that is discordant. It constantly regenerates, so there is nothing to do to purify it.
This symbol symbolizes creation; that is, the entire universe. The Flower of Life symbol is said to be the origin of everything that exists in creation, without exception; all biological life forms, crystalline structures, DNA molecules.
In fact, it reminds us that all life comes from one single source. All forms of life are therefore intimately connected to the Flower of Life, which also implies that all forms of life are interconnected.

n
How to use the Flower of Life?

First and foremost, it is a powerful meditation tool. But it can also be used in daily life in multiple ways.
The Flower of Life can be used to drink energized water: for this, simply pour water into a Flower of Life carafe for a few hours before drinking it.
The Flower of Life is used to purify and recharge crystals. It is also used to create crystal grids.
It helps preserve food, essential oils, and generally any substances you want to harmonize and energize.
It is also used to harmonize spaces like a living room, a waiting room, an office…
Furthermore, it is very pleasant to wear it; it helps maintain a high level of energy throughout the day and provides protection, making us less sensitive to heavy and unwanted energies.
For this, you can either choose a piece of jewelry like a pendant or a ring, or wear a garment like a t-shirt.
If you like tattoos, you can get a Flower of Life tattooed on your body, and initially, why not try a temporary Flower of Life tattoo.
