Everything you need to know about the Fleur de Vie

For about forty years, the Fleur de Vie has intrigued and sparked a lot of discussion; in 1999, Drunvalo Melchizedek published a two-volume work entitled The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life; it is the most comprehensive book known to date on this subject.
So the Fleur de Vie intrigues, but what exactly is it?

n
Definition and origins of the Fleur de Vie:

The Fleur de Vie is a symbol of sacred geometry that is very ancient. It has been found on numerous ancient monuments in various parts of the world.
The oldest known representation of the “superimposed circles” motif dates back to the 7th or 6th century BC, found on the threshold of the palace of the Assyrian king Ashurbanipal in Dur Sharrukin (now in the Louvre Museum).
Another pattern has also been found drawn on the granite columns of the Osiris temple in Abydos, Egypt; it is a figure with five sets of 19 overlapping circles.
It is composed of 19 evenly spaced circles that overlap each other symmetrically.

n
How to draw the Fleur de Vie?

The essential tool is, of course, the compass. Choose a spacing and keep it throughout the drawing, as all the circles have the same diameter.
Start by drawing the first circle, then the second one by placing the compass point on a point of the first circle; the second circle will necessarily pass through the center of the first one. Continue like this and draw as many circles as you want. In fact, this pattern can be reproduced infinitely.

n
Fleur de Vie and Sacred Geometry:

The Fleur de Vie is a figure of sacred geometry. It would encapsulate many symbols of sacred geometry such as the Platonic solids, Metatron’s Cube, the Vesica Piscis, the Fibonacci sequence… Other patterns such as the Seed of Life, the Tree of Life, and the Flower of Life stem from it.
It would even be linked to Leonardo da Vinci’s famous drawing entitled Vitruvian Man, reproducing the human body elaborated according to divine proportions.
The Fleur de Vie would have a direct link with the golden ratio and divine proportion, which would have been used to build the pyramids of Egypt and the cathedrals.
For some people, it is present absolutely everywhere, in all cells, atoms, and molecular structures, and may even be the origin of life.

n
What is Sacred Geometry?

These are special forms due to their proportions or that seem closely related to the golden ratio (or Phi ratio). They can be found in ancient monuments, nature, and even the human body.
Below are the main figures of sacred geometry:

Platonic Solids:

Also known as Platonic solids, these are five polyhedra with specific properties. Their surfaces have the same area; the edges of each Platonic solid have the same length; the angles formed by all the edges are the same; if any Platonic solid is placed in a sphere that completely encloses it, all its points touch the inner surface of the sphere.
The Platonic solids are the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron.

Metatron’s Cube:

It is one of the most powerful symbols of sacred geometry. It is actually the seal of the archangel Metatron. According to Drunvalo Melchizedek, the five Platonic solids come from the Fruit of Life, a figure hidden in Metatron’s Cube.

Merkaba:

It is the light body of the human being. In his work, Drunvalo Melchizedek explains the origin of this word. In Hebrew, Mer-Ka-Vah literally means “throne of God” and “chariot” or “chariot”; in Egyptian, Mer-Ka-Ba breaks down into “Mer” which means “light field”, “Ka” meaning “spirit”, and “Ba” representing the human body. It is, in fact, the light body of the human being.

Vesica Piscis:

It is one of the most prominent figures in the Fleur de Vie, and one of the most important ratios.
The Vesica Piscis is the geometric figure formed by the intersection of two circles of the same diameter, with the center of each circle belonging to the circumference of the other. Also called a mandorla (almond), this figure is considered one of the keys to Pythagorean esotericism.

Seed of Life:

The Seed of Life is at the center of the Flower of Life. It is composed of seven circles, like the seven days of creation.
Composed of six circles plus a central circle, a total of seven, it can be considered as consisting of seven seeds of life.

n
What are the benefits of the Fleur de Vie?

The Fleur de Vie is a shape wave that harmonizes everything that is discordant. It regenerates infinitely, so there is nothing to do to purify it.
This symbol represents creation; that is, the entire universe. The Fleur de Vie symbol would be the origin of everything that exists in creation, absolutely everything: all forms of biological life, crystalline structures, DNA molecules.
In fact, it indicates to us that all life comes from a single source. All forms of life are therefore intimately linked to the Fleur de Vie, which also means that all forms of life are interconnected.

n
How to use the Fleur de Vie?

First and foremost, it is a powerful meditation tool. But it can be used in everyday life in many ways.
The Fleur de Vie is used to drink revitalized water: simply place water in a Fleur de Vie carafe for a few hours before drinking it.
The Fleur de Vie is used to cleanse and recharge crystals. It is also used to create crystal grids.
It allows for better preservation of food, essential oils, and, in general, all substances that you want to harmonize and revitalize.
It is also used to harmonize a space, such as a living room or waiting area, an office…
Moreover, it is very pleasant to wear it; it helps maintain a high level of energy throughout the day and serves as protection, making us less permeable to heavy and unwanted energies.
For this, you can either choose a piece of jewelry such as a pendant or a ring, or wear clothing such as a t-shirt.
If you like tattoos, you can tattoo a Fleur de Vie on your body, and initially, why not try a temporary Fleur de Vie tattoo?
