The Flower of Life is a very special symbol, but what is its purpose and how can it be used?

What is the purpose of the Flower of Life?

This sacred geometry symbol is so ancient that its true origin remains unknown. It has been discovered in various sacred buildings around the world, dating back to different times.

The oldest known depiction was found in the palace of King Assurbanipal in Dur-Sharrukin, Assyria, dating back to 645 BC.

Another representation of the Flower of Life can be found on one of the granite columns of the Temple of Osiris in Abydos, an ancient city of Egypt.

Abydos was the most important worship place of Osiris, the god of the Dead, and seemed to represent the gateway to eternity for the ancient Egyptians. Abydos, as the cult center of Osiris, was the main access to the afterlife.

The Flower of Life symbol contains numerous geometrical shapes, such as the Platonic solids, the Metatron’s Cube, the Vesica Piscis, and the famous Vitruvian Man by Leonardo da Vinci. This takes us into the realm of sacred geometry. These are forms with perfect proportions, like the ones found in nature. By using the Golden Ratio (PHI), they have facilitated the construction of famous monuments such as pyramids, cathedrals, and ancient temples.

It is said to be present in everything, from cells to molecular structures, and considered as the origin of life itself.

The Platonic solids are five regular polyhedra with unique characteristics, as they are the basis of all structures. They are the tetrahedron, hexahedron (or cube), octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron.

These geometric symbols are regular convex polyhedra, and there are only five of them. To be regular, a polyhedron must have an equal number of regular polygons at each of its vertices. Additionally, the sum of the angles at the vertices of regular polygons must be strictly less than 360°.

From a mathematical point of view, the Euler’s formula (F + S – A = 2), where F is the number of faces, A is the number of edges, and S is the number of vertices, applies to the Platonic solids.

In the field of energy work, the Platonic solids are used in healing because they help optimize the vibrational frequency of a person. They connect the chakras to universal energy, thus strengthening the light bodies.

The Flower of Life is a sacred shape that contributes to raising the vibrational frequency of a person or a place. Shape waves are vibrations generated or amplified by a particular form.

The Flower of Life can also be used for food and beverages, essential oils, etc.

How to Use the Flower of Life?

This sacred symbol can be used in various ways. Its mere presence in a room has a harmonizing effect. It helps raise vibrations by restructuring what is discordant.

It contributes to revitalizing water and enhances food preservation.

It can be used as a talisman and worn as jewelry (pendant, bracelet, earrings) or on clothing. Some choose to have this motif as a tattoo. If you are not sure where to tattoo the Flower of Life on your body, you can start with a temporary tattoo.

It can also be used as a meditation tool or to charge stones and crystals.

It can be used to create crystal healing and harmonization grids.

How to Activate the Flower of Life?

In terms of spiritual energy, this shape wave is a vibration that connects us with the Authentic Source of all life, i.e., the divine.

To benefit from its beneficial properties, there is no need to activate or do anything specific. It works infinitely to rebalance our energies. Its effects can be perceived on the mental, physical, and emotional levels.

However, some lightworkers talk about activating the Flower of Life in energetic work, to anchor the symbols.

But in everyday use, there is nothing specific to do, except sending thoughts of love and harmony if you wish to intensify its action.

How to Draw the Flower of Life?

This geometric shape is composed of 19 evenly spaced circles with symmetry.

Although it may seem difficult to reproduce at first glance, it is actually quite easy once you understand how it is formed.

The essential tool is, of course, a compass and a support.

Take your compass and draw the first circle. While keeping the same diameter, draw a second circle by putting the compass point on a point of the first circle’s line. You will notice that the intersections are actually the centers of each circle.

Then, place the compass point on one of the intersections of the two circles previously drawn, and draw a third circle. Continue drawing the four other circles using the same method, and you will then have the Seed of Life.

Next, add 12 additional circles around the Seed of Life, following the same procedure.

Done? Perfect, all that’s left is to add the semi-circles to complete the pattern.

There you have it, it wasn’t so complicated after all.
