Everything you need to know about the Seed of Life

Since the 1980s, the Seed of Life has intrigued and been talked about; in the 2000s, Drunvalo Melchizedek published a two-volume work entitled The Ancient Secret of the Seed of Life; it is the most complete book known to date on this subject.
It is evident that the Seed of Life intrigues, but what is it exactly?

Definition and Origins of the Seed of Life:

The Seed of Life is a very ancient symbol of sacred geometry. It has been found on numerous ancient monuments in various parts of the world.
The oldest known representation of the “overlapping circles” motif dates back to the 7th or 6th century BC, found on the threshold of the palace of the Assyrian king Ashurbanipal in Dur-Sharrukin (now in the Louvre).
Another motif has also been found drawn on the granite columns of the Temple of Osiris at Abydos, Egypt; it is a drawing with five patterns of 19 overlapping circles.
It is formed by 19 evenly spaced circles that symmetrically overlap.

How to draw the Seed of Life?

The indispensable instrument is obviously the compass. Choose a spacing and keep it until the figure is complete, as all the circles have the same diameter.
Start by drawing a first circle, then a second one by placing the compass point on a point of the first circle; the second circle will necessarily pass through the center of the first one. Then continue like this and draw as many circles as you want. Because this pattern can extend to infinity.

Seed of Life and Sacred Geometry:

The Seed of Life is a figure of sacred geometry. It is said to contain many other symbols of sacred geometry such as the Platonic solids, Metatron’s Cube, the Vesica Piscis, the Fibonacci sequence… Other figures such as the Flower of Life, the Tree of Life, and the Germ of Life are derived from it.
It even has a connection to Leonardo da Vinci’s famous drawing called the Vitruvian Man, representing the human body created according to divine proportions.
The Seed of Life is said to be related to the golden ratio and the divine proportion used to build the pyramids of Egypt and cathedrals.
For some, it is present absolutely everywhere, in every cell, atom, and molecular structure, and may even be the origin of life.

What is Sacred Geometry?

These are special shapes due to their proportions or which appear to be closely related to the golden ratio (or Phi ratio). They can be found in ancient monuments, nature, and even the human body.
Let’s detail the main figures of sacred geometry below:

Platonic Solids:

Also known as Platonic bodies, these are five polyhedra with specific properties. Their surfaces have the same area; the edges of each Platonic body are of equal length; the angles formed by all the edges are the same; if any Platonic body is placed in a sphere that circumscribes it at any point, all its apexes touch the inner surface of the sphere.
The Platonic solids are the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron.

Metatron’s Cube:

It is one of the most powerful symbols of sacred geometry. It is, in fact, the seal of the Archangel Metatron. According to Drunvalo Melchizedek, the five Platonic solids come from the fruit of life, a figure hidden in Metatron’s Cube.

Merkaba:

It is the light body of the human being. In his book, Drunvalo Melchizedek explains the origin of this word. In Hebrew, Mer-Ka-Vah literally means “throne of God” and “chariot” or “chariot”; in Egyptian, Mer-Ka-Ba can be broken down as Mer, meaning “luminous field,” Ka meaning “spirit,” and Ba representing the human body. It is in fact the light body of the human being.

Vesica Piscis:

It is one of the most prominent figures in the Seed of Life, and one of the most important ratios.
The Vesica Piscis is the geometric figure formed by the intersection of two circles of the same diameter while the center of each circle lies on the circumference of the other. Also known as a mandorla (almond), this figure is considered one of the keys to Pythagorean esotericism.

Seed of Life:

The Seed of Life is at the center of the Flower of Life. It is composed of seven circles, like the seven days of creation.
Composed of six circles plus a central circle, a total of seven, it can be considered as consisting of seven seeds of life.

What are the benefits of the Seed of Life?

The Seed of Life is a form wave that harmonizes anything that is discordant. It regenerates infinitely, so there is nothing to do to purify it.
This symbol is supposed to represent creation; i.e., the entire universe. The symbol of the Seed of Life is said to be the origin of everything that exists in creation, absolutely everything; all biological life forms, crystalline structures, DNA molecules.
In fact, it indicates that all life comes from a single source. All life forms are therefore intimately connected to the Seed of Life, which also means that all life forms are interconnected.

How to use the Seed of Life?

It is above all a powerful meditation tool. But it is used in everyday life in many other ways.
The Seed of Life is used to drink revitalized water: for this, simply pour the water into a Seed of Life carafe for a few hours before drinking it.
The Seed of Life is used to purify and recharge crystals. It is also used to create crystal grids.
It helps to better preserve food, essential oils, and in general, all substances you want to harmonize and revitalize.
It is also used to harmonize a space, such as a living room, waiting room, or office.
Finally, it is very pleasant to wear it on oneself; it helps maintain a high level of energy throughout the day and serves as protection, making us less sensitive to heavy and unwanted energies.
For this, you can either choose a piece of jewelry like a pendant or a ring, or wear a garment like a t-shirt, for example.
If you like tattoos, you can get a Seed of Life tattooed on your body, and initially, why not try a temporary Seed of Life tattoo.
