Everything about the Flower of Life

Since the 80s, the Flower of Life has intrigued and generated much discussion; in 1999, Drunvalo Melchizedek published a two-volume work called “The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life”; it is the most comprehensive work on this subject.
So the flower of life is intriguing, but what is it exactly?

n
Definition and Origins of the Flower of Life:

The flower of life is a very ancient geometric figure. It has been found on a number of ancient monuments in several places around the world.
The oldest known representation of the “overlapping circles” pattern dates back to the 7th or 6th century BCE, found on the threshold of the palace of the Assyrian king Assur-bani-apli in Dur Sharrukin (now in the Louvre).
Another pattern was also found drawn on the granite columns of the Temple of Osiris in Abydos, Egypt; it is an engraving with five patterns of 19 overlapping circles.
It is composed of 19 regularly spaced circles, overlapping in a symmetrical manner.

n
How to draw the Flower of Life?

The essential tool is, of course, the compass. Choose a radius and keep it until the end of the drawing, as all the circles have the same radius.
Start by drawing the first circle, then a second one by placing the tip of the compass on a point of the first circle; the second circle will necessarily pass through the center of the first one. Then continue like this and draw as many circles as you want. Because this figure can be reproduced indefinitely.

n
Flower of Life and Sacred Geometry:

The flower of life is a figure of sacred geometry. It contains many symbols of sacred geometry such as the Platonic solids, Metatron’s Cube, the Vesica Piscis, the Fibonacci sequence… Other patterns like the seed of life, the tree of life, and the germ of life are derived from it.
It even has a connection to the famous drawing by Leonardo da Vinci titled “Vitruvian Man,” representing the human body developed according to divine proportions.
The flower of life is linked to the golden ratio and the divine proportion, which may have been used to build the pyramids of Egypt and the cathedrals.
Some believe that it is present absolutely everywhere, in all cells, atoms, and molecular structures, and may even be the origin of life.

n
What is Sacred Geometry?

These are special shapes due to their proportions or because they appear to be intimately related to the golden ratio (or Phi ratio). They are found in ancient monuments, nature, and even the human body.
Let’s detail the main figures of sacred geometry below:

Platonic Solids:

Also known as Platonic solids, these are five polyhedra with specific properties. Their surfaces have the same area; the edges of each Platonic solid are of the same length; the angles formed by all the edges are the same; if any Platonic solid is placed in a sphere that surrounds it at every point, all its vertices touch the inner surface of the sphere.
The Platonic solids are the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron.

Metatron’s Cube:

It is one of the most powerful symbols of sacred geometry. It is actually the seal of the archangel Metatron. According to Drunvalo Melchizedek, the five Platonic solids come from the fruit of life, a figure hidden within Metatron’s Cube.

Merkaba:

It is the light body of the human being. In his work, Drunvalo Melchizedek explains the origin of this word. In Hebrew, Mer-Ka-Vah literally means “God’s throne and chariot”; in Egyptian, Mer-Ka-Ba breaks down into Mer meaning “light field,” Ka meaning “spirit,” and Ba representing the human body. It is, in fact, the light body of the human being.

n
Vesica Piscis:

It is one of the most prominent figures in the flower of life and one of the most important ratios.
The Vesica Piscis is the geometric figure formed by the intersection of two circles of the same diameter, where the center of each circle belongs to the circumference of the other circle. Also known as mandorla (almond), this figure is considered one of the keys of Pythagorean esotericism.

Seed of Life:

The seed of life is at the center of the flower of life. It is composed of seven circles, like the seven days of creation.
Composed of six circles plus a central circle, totaling seven, it can be considered as consisting of seven seeds of life.

n
What are the benefits of the flower of life?

The flower of life is a form wave that harmonizes everything that is discordant. It regenerates infinitely, so there is nothing to do to recharge it.
This symbol represents creation; that is, the entire universe. The symbol of the flower of life is said to be the origin of everything that exists in creation, absolutely everything; all biological life forms, crystalline structures, DNA molecules.
In fact, it tells us that all life comes from a single source. All forms of life are therefore intimately connected to the flower of life, which also means that all forms of life are interconnected.

n
How to use the flower of life?

First and foremost, it is a powerful meditation tool. But it is also used in everyday life in many other ways.
The flower of life allows you to drink energized water: simply put the water in a flower of life carafe for a few hours before drinking it.
The flower of life is used to purify and recharge crystals. It is also used to create crystal grids.
It helps to better preserve food, essential oils, and, in general, all substances that you want to harmonize and energize.
It is also used to harmonize a space like a living room, a waiting room, an office…
In addition, it is very pleasant to wear it; it helps to maintain a high energy level throughout the day and serves as protection, making us less permeable to heavy and unwanted energies.
For this, you can either choose a piece of jewelry like a pendant or a ring, or wear it as clothing, like a t-shirt for example.
If you like tattoos, you can get a flower of life tattooed on your body, and initially, why not try a temporary flower of life tattoo.
