The Flower of Life is a very special symbol, but what is it and how can it be used?

What is the Flower of Life for?

This symbol of sacred geometry is so ancient that its true origins are unknown. It has been found all over the world, in different periods, in various sacred monuments.

The earliest known depiction was found in the palace of King Assurbanipal in Dur-Sharrukin in Assyria, dating back to 645 BC.

Another representation of the Flower of Life was discovered on one of the granite columns of the Temple of Osiris in Abydos, an ancient Egyptian city.

Abydos was the first place of worship for Osiris, the god of the Dead, and seemed to replicate the passage to eternity for the ancient Egyptians. Abydos, as the cult center of Osiris, was the main gateway to the afterlife.

The Flower of Life symbol contains many geometric shapes such as the Platonic solids, the Metatron’s Cube, the Vesica Piscis, and Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man. This introduces us to the world of sacred geometry. These are forms with perfect proportions that can be observed in nature. Based on the golden ratio (PHI), it has been used to construct famous monuments such as pyramids, cathedrals, and ancient temples.

It is believed to be present in absolutely everything, from cells to molecular structures, and is considered the origin of life itself.

The Platonic solids are five regular polyhedra that possess unique characteristics, as they are the basis of all structures. They are the tetrahedron, the hexahedron (or cube), the octahedron, the dodecahedron, and the icosahedron.

These geometric symbols are regular convex polyhedra, and there are only five of them. To be regular, a polyhedron must have the same number of regular polygons at each of its vertices. In addition, the sum of the angles at the vertices of the regular polygons must be strictly less than 360°.

From a mathematical point of view, the Euler’s formula (F+S-A=2), where F is the number of faces, A is the number of edges, and S is the number of vertices, holds true for the Platonic solids.

From an energetic perspective, the Platonic solids are used for healing purposes as they help optimize a person’s vibrational rate. They connect the chakras to universal energy, thus strengthening the light body.

The Flower of Life is a form wave that contributes to raising the vibrational frequency of a person or a place. Form waves are vibrations generated or amplified by a specific form.

The Flower of Life can also be used for food and drinks, essential oils, etc.

How to Use the Flower of Life?

This sacred symbol can be used in multiple ways. Its mere presence in a room has a harmonizing effect. It helps to elevate vibrations by restructuring disharmony.

It helps revitalize water and improve food preservation.

It can be used as a talisman. It can be worn as jewelry (pendant, bracelet, earrings…) or on clothing. Some even choose it as a tattoo. If you’re unsure about tattooing the Flower of Life on your body, you can start with a temporary tattoo.

It can also serve as a meditation support or to recharge stones and crystals.

It can even be used to create crystal healing and harmonization grids.

How to Activate the Flower of Life?

On a spiritual energy level, this form wave is a vibration that connects us with the Authentic Source of all life, the divine.

To benefit from its beneficial properties, there is no need to activate it or do anything specific. It works infinitely to rebalance our energies. The effects can be noticeable on the mental, physical, and emotional levels.

Some people talk about activating the Flower of Life in energy work to anchor the symbols.

But in everyday use, there is nothing special to do, except sending thoughts of love and harmony if you want to intensify its effects.

How to Draw the Flower of Life?

This geometric shape is composed of 19 evenly spaced circles that overlap symmetrically.

Although it may seem difficult to reproduce at first glance, it is actually quite simple once you understand how it is formed.

The essential tool is, of course, a compass, and a surface to draw on.

Grab your compass and draw the first circle. While keeping the same diameter, draw a second circle by placing the compass tip on a point of the first circle’s circumference. You will see that the intersections are in fact the central points of each circle.

Next, place the compass tip on one of the intersections of the two previously drawn circles, and draw a third circle. Continue drawing the other four circles using the same method, and you will then have the Seed of Life.

Then add 12 additional circles around the Seed of Life using the same procedure.

Done? Perfect, all that’s left is to add the semi-circles to complete the figure.

There you go, it wasn’t so complicated after all!
