Everything about the Seed of Life

Since the 80s, the Seed of Life has intrigued and been talked about; in 1999, Drunvalo Melchizedek published a two-volume work entitled The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life; it’s the most comprehensive book available on this subject.
Obviously, the Seed of Life is intriguing, but what exactly is it?

Definition and Origins of the Seed of Life:

The Seed of Life is a very ancient geometric figure. It has been found on numerous ancient monuments in different parts of the world.
The oldest known representation of the “overlapping circles” pattern dates back to the 7th or 6th century BC and was found on the threshold of the palace of the Assyrian king Ashur-bani-apli in Dur Sharrukin (now at the Louvre).
Another pattern has also been found, drawn on the granite columns of the Temple of Osiris in Abydos, Egypt; it’s an engraving with five patterns of 19 overlapping circles.
It is composed of 19 regularly spaced circles that overlap symmetrically.

How to draw the Seed of Life?

The essential tool is, of course, the compass. Set a specific radius and keep it throughout the construction of the figure, as all the circles have the same radius.
Start by drawing the first circle, then the second one by placing the compass point on a point of the first circle; the second circle will necessarily pass through the center of the first. Continue like this and draw as many circles as you want. In fact, this pattern can extend infinitely.

Seed of Life and Sacred Geometry:

The Seed of Life is a symbol of sacred geometry. It allegedly contains numerous symbols of sacred geometry, such as the Platonic solids, Metatron’s Cube, the Vesica Piscis, the Fibonacci sequence… Other patterns, such as the Flower of Life, the Tree of Life, and the Egg of Life, are derived from it.
It is even said to be linked to Leonardo da Vinci’s famous drawing called the Vitruvian Man, depicting the human body created according to divine proportions.
The Seed of Life is allegedly directly related to the golden ratio and the divine proportion, which were supposedly used to build the Egyptian pyramids and cathedrals.
For some people, it is present absolutely everywhere, in all cells, atoms, and molecular structures, and may even be the origin of life.

What is Sacred Geometry?

These are special figures due to their proportions or because they seem to be intimately linked to the golden ratio (or the Phi ratio). They can be found in ancient monuments, nature, and even the human body.
Let’s detail the main figures of sacred geometry below:

Platonic Solids:

Also known as Platonic solids, these are five polyhedra with specific properties. Their surfaces have the same area; the edges of each polyhedron have the same length; the angles formed by all edges are the same; if any Platonic solid is placed in a sphere that completely encompasses it, all its vertices touch the inner surface of the sphere.
The Platonic solids are the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron.

Metatron’s Cube:

It is one of the most powerful symbols of sacred geometry. It is believed to be the hidden figure in the Flower of Life, according to Drunvalo Melchizedek.

Merkaba:

It is the light body of the human being. In his book, Drunvalo Melchizedek explains the origin of this word. In Hebrew, Mer-Ka-Vah literally means “chariot” or “throne” of God; in ancient Egyptian, Mer-Ka-Ba decomposes into “Mer” which means light field, “Ka” which means spirit, and “Ba” which represents the human body. It is, in fact, the light body of the human being.

Vesica Piscis:

It is one of the most recurring figures in the Seed of Life and one of the most important ratios.
The Vesica Piscis is the geometric figure formed by the intersection of two circles with the same diameter, with the center of each circle lying on the circumference of the other. Also called the almond shape, this figure is considered one of the keys to Pythagorean esotericism.

Seed of Life:

The Seed of Life is at the center of the Flower of Life. It is composed of seven circles, symbolizing the seven days of creation.
Consisting of six outer circles and one central circle, totaling seven, it can be considered as consisting of seven seeds of life.

What are the Benefits of the Seed of Life?

The Seed of Life is a form of energy that harmonizes everything that is discordant. It regenerates infinitely, so there is nothing to do to recharge it.
This symbol supposedly symbolizes creation; that is, the entire universe. The Seed of Life symbol is said to be the origin of everything that exists in creation, absolutely everything: all biological life forms, crystal structures, DNA molecules.
In fact, it indicates that all life comes from a single source. Therefore, all forms of life are intimately connected to the Seed of Life, which also means that all forms of life are interconnected.

How to Use the Seed of Life?

It is primarily a powerful meditation support. However, it can be used in everyday life in multiple ways.
The Seed of Life can be used to drink energized water: simply place water in a Seed of Life carafe for a few hours before drinking it.
The Seed of Life can be used to purify and recharge crystals. It is also used to create crystal grids.
It helps better preserve food, essential oils, and, in general, all substances you want to harmonize and energize.
It is also used to harmonize a space, such as a living room, waiting room, or office.
Furthermore, it is very pleasant to wear it; it helps maintain a high level of energy throughout the day and serves as protection, making us less susceptible to heavy, unwanted energies.
To do this, you can either choose a piece of jewelry, such as a pendant or ring, or wear clothing, such as a t-shirt.
If you like tattoos, you can get a Seed of Life tattooed on your body, and why not try a temporary Seed of Life tattoo at first.
