Since the 1980s, the flower of life has intrigued and fascinated many. In 1999, Drunvalo Melchizedek published a two-volume work entitled “The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life,” which is currently the most comprehensive book on this subject. So what is the flower of life exactly?
Definition and Origins of the Flower of Life:
The flower of life is an ancient geometric figure that has been found on numerous ancient monuments worldwide. The oldest known representation of the overlapping circles pattern dates back to the 7th or 6th century BCE and was found on the threshold of the palace of the Assyrian king Aššur-bāni-apli in Dur Šarrukin (now in the Louvre). Another pattern has also been found on the granite columns of the Osiris temple in Abydos, Egypt. It consists of five motifs of 19 overlapping circles, forming a symmetrical pattern.
How to Draw the Flower of Life:
The essential tool for drawing the flower of life is a compass. Choose a specific radius and keep it consistent throughout the drawing process, as all circles will have the same diameter. Start by drawing one circle and then, using the same compass point, draw another circle intersecting the first. Repeat this process to create as many circles as desired. The angles formed by their edges are identical. If any of these solids are placed within a sphere that circumscribes them, all their vertices will touch the inner surface of the sphere. The Platonic solids are the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron.
Metatron’s Cube:
Metatron’s Cube is one of the most powerful symbols of sacred geometry. It is believed to be the hidden structure within the fruit of life, as explained by Drunvalo Melchizedek.

The Merkaba is the light body of the human being. In Hebrew, Mer-Ka-Vah literally means “throne of God” and “chariot,” while in Egyptian, Mer-Ka-Ba is composed of “Mer” meaning light field, “Ka” meaning spirit, and “Ba” representing the human body. It is, in fact, the light body of the human being.

The Vesica Piscis is one of the most prevalent shapes within the flower of life and represents an important ratio. It is formed by the intersection of two circles of the same diameter, with the center of each circle lying on the circumference of the other.
