Seed of Life, Sacred Geometry, and Metatron’s Cube

If you’re wondering about the connection between the seed of life and sacred geometry, you’ve come to the right place! Welcome to our Seed of Life universe! At Mandala Seed of Life, we offer much more than just articles with Seed of Life patterns; we open the doors to sacred geometry so that you can be, and especially become, who you truly are! Naturally, if you buy a Seed of Life t-shirt, or a sticker, or even hang a tapestry with a Seed of Life pattern in your living room, you will:

  • Change the room’s decoration,
  • Create a more zen atmosphere,
  • Increase the vibrational frequency of the room and the people who will be there permanently.

And that’s already very, very satisfying! Because not only does it change your mindset, which imperceptibly transforms; your mind opens up, becomes more peaceful, calmer… But also, we allow you to truly understand what the Seed of Life is, and how it could change your life.

Everything you need to know about the Seed of Life

For about forty years, the Seed of Life has intrigued and sparked a lot of interest. In 1999, Drunvalo Melchizedek published a two-volume book entitled “The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life”, which is the most comprehensive book to date on this subject. While the Seed of Life is intriguing, what is it exactly?

Definition and Origins of the Seed of Life:

The Seed of Life is a very ancient geometric symbol. It has been found on several ancient monuments in various parts of the world. The oldest known representation of the “overlapping circles” pattern dates back to the 7th or 6th century BC and was found on the threshold of the palace of the Assyrian king Ashurbanipal in Dur Sharrukin (now in the Louvre Museum). Another pattern was also found drawn on the granite columns of the Temple of Osiris in Abydos, Egypt; it is a drawing with five patterns of 19 overlapping circles. It consists of 19 regularly spaced circles that symmetrically overlap each other.

How to draw the Seed of Life?

The essential tool is obviously the compass. Define a spacing and keep it until the end of the figure’s creation, as all the circles have the same radius. Start by drawing the first circle, then the second by placing the compass point on a point of the first circle; the second circle will necessarily pass through the center of the first. Continue in this way and draw as many circles as you want. In fact, this figure can be reproduced infinitely.

Seed of Life and Sacred Geometry:

The Seed of Life is a symbol of sacred geometry. It is said to contain many other symbols of sacred geometry such as the Platonic solids, Metatron’s Cube, the Vesica Piscis, and the Fibonacci sequence… Other figures such as the Flower of Life, the Tree of Life, and the Seed of Life derive from it. It may even be linked to Leonardo da Vinci’s famous drawing called the Vitruvian Man, which reproduces the human body built according to divine proportions. The Seed of Life is directly related to the golden ratio and the divine proportion, which were used to build the Egyptian pyramids and cathedrals. For some, it is present absolutely everywhere, in all cells, atoms, and molecular structures, and may even be the origin of life.

What is Sacred Geometry?

These are special figures due to their proportions or because they seem intimately linked to the golden ratio (or Phi ratio). They are found in ancient monuments, nature, and even the human body. Let’s detail below the main figures of sacred geometry:

Platonic Solids:

Also known as Platonic solids, they are five polyhedra with specific properties. Their surfaces have the same area; the edges of each Platonic solid are of equal length; the angles formed by all the edges are the same; if any Platonic solid is placed in a sphere that surrounds it at all points, all its vertices touch the inner surface of the sphere. The Platonic solids are the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron.

Metatron’s Cube:

It is one of the most powerful symbols of sacred geometry. It is actually the seal of the archangel Metatron. According to Drunvalo Melchizedek, the five Platonic solids come from the fruit of life, a figure hidden in Metatron’s Cube.

Merkaba:

It is the light body of the human being. In his book, Drunvalo Melchizedek explains the origin of this word. In Hebrew, Mer-Ka-Vah literally means “God’s throne” and “chariot” or “chariot”. In Egyptian, Mer-Ka-Ba breaks down into “Mer” which means light field, “Ka” meaning spirit, and “Ba” representing the human body. It is, in fact, the light body of the human being.

Vesica Piscis:

It is one of the most prominent figures in the Seed of Life, and it is one of the most important ratios. The Vesica Piscis is the geometric figure formed by the intersection of two circles of the same diameter, with each circle’s center belonging to the circumference of the other. Also called mandorla (almond), this figure is considered one of the keys to Pythagorean esotericism.

Flower of Life:

The Flower of Life is at the center of the Seed of Life. It is composed of seven circles, like the seven days of creation. Composed of six circles plus a central circle, a total of seven, it can be considered as consisting of seven seeds of life.

What are the benefits of the Seed of Life?

The Seed of Life is a form wave that harmonizes anything that is discordant. It regenerates infinitely, so there is nothing to do to purify it. This symbol would symbolize creation; that is, the entire universe. The symbol of the Seed of Life is said to be the origin of everything that exists in creation, without exception; all biological life forms, crystalline structures, DNA molecules. In fact, it indicates that all life comes from a single source. All forms of life are therefore intimately connected to the Seed of Life, which also means that all forms of life are interconnected.

How to use the Seed of Life?

Above all, it is a powerful meditation support. But it is used in daily life in many other ways. The Seed of Life allows you to drink energized water: simply pour water into a Seed of Life carafe for a few hours before drinking it. The Seed of Life is a tool for purifying and recharging crystals. It is also used to create crystal grids. It is used to better preserve food, essential oils, and generally any substances you want to harmonize and energize. It is also used to harmonize a space like a living room, a waiting room, an office… Moreover, it is very enjoyable to wear it; it helps maintain a high level of energy throughout the day and acts as protection, making us less sensitive to heavy and unwanted energies. For this, you can either choose a piece of jewelry like a pendant or a ring, or wear a garment like a t-shirt. If you like tattoos, you can tattoo a Seed of Life on your body, and initially, why not try a temporary Seed of Life tattoo.
