Everything you need to know about the Fleur de Vie

For about forty years, the Fleur de Vie has intrigued and sparked discussions; in 1999, Drunvalo Melchizédek published a two-volume book titled “The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life”; it is the most comprehensive book on this subject.
Certainly, the Fleur de Vie is intriguing, but what exactly is it?

Definition and origins of the Fleur de Vie:

The Fleur de Vie is a very ancient geometric figure. It has been found on multiple ancient monuments in various parts of the world.
The oldest known representation of the “overlapping circles” pattern dates back to the 7th or 6th century BC and was found on the threshold of the palace of the Assyrian king Aššur-bāni-apli in Dur Šarrukin (now in the Louvre).
Another pattern has also been found drawn on the granite columns of the Temple of Osiris in Abydos, Egypt; it is a figure with five patterns of 19 overlapping circles.
It is composed of 19 evenly spaced circles that symmetrically overlap each other.

How to draw the Fleur de Vie?

The essential tool is obviously the compass. Set a specific distance and keep it constant throughout the drawing process, as all the circles have the same radius.
Start by drawing the first circle, then a second one with the compass point on a point of the first circle; the second circle will necessarily intersect the center of the first circle. Continue this process and draw as many circles as you want. This figure can extend infinitely.

Fleur de Vie and Sacred Geometry:

The Fleur de Vie is a symbol of sacred geometry. It contains many other sacred geometry symbols such as the Platonic solids, Metatron’s Cube, the Vesica Piscis, the Fibonacci sequence… Other figures such as the Seed of Life, the Tree of Life, and the Germ of Life are derived from it.
It even has a direct connection to Leonardo da Vinci’s famous drawing called Vitruvian Man, representing the human body based on divine proportions.
The Fleur de Vie is directly linked to the golden ratio and the divine proportion, which are believed to have been used in the construction of the Egyptian pyramids and cathedrals.
For some, it is present absolutely everywhere, in every cell, atom, and molecular structure, and may even be the origin of life itself.

What is Sacred Geometry?

These are special figures due to their proportions or their close connection to the golden ratio (or Phi). They can be found on ancient monuments, in nature, and even in the human body.
Below are the main figures of sacred geometry:

Platonic Solids:

Also known as Platonic solids, these are five polyhedra with specific properties. Their surfaces have the same area; the edges of each Platonic solid have identical lengths; the angles formed by the edges are the same; if any Platonic solid is inscribed in a sphere, all its corners touch the inner surface of the sphere.
The Platonic solids are the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron.

Metatron’s Cube:

It is one of the most powerful symbols of sacred geometry. It is said to be Archangel Metatron’s cube. According to Drunvalo Melchizédek, the five Platonic solids originate from the Fruit of Life, a hidden figure within Metatron’s Cube.

Merkaba:

It is the light body of a human being. In his book, Drunvalo Melchizédek explains the origin of this word. In Hebrew, Mer-Ka-Vah literally means “Throne of God” and “chariot” or “vehicle”; in Egyptian, Mer-Ka-Ba can be divided into Mer, which means light field, Ka meaning spirit, and Ba, representing the human body. It is, in fact, the light body of a human being.

Vesica Piscis:

This figure is very present in the Fleur de Vie and is one of the most important ratios. The Vesica Piscis is the geometric shape formed by the intersection of two circles of the same diameter, with the center of each circle on the circumference of the other. Also known as “mandorla” (almond), this figure is considered one of the keys to Pythagorean esotericism.

Seed of Life:

The Seed of Life is at the center of the Fleur de Vie. It is composed of seven circles, representing the seven days of creation.
Composed of six outer circles and one central circle, a total of seven, it can be considered as seven “seeds” of life.

What are the benefits of the Fleur de Vie?

The Fleur de Vie is a sacred symbol that harmonizes anything that is discordant. It continually regenerates itself, so there is nothing you need to do to recharge it.
This symbol is supposed to represent creation; that is, the entire universe. The Fleur de Vie is believed to be the origin of everything that exists in creation, absolutely everything; all biological life forms, crystalline structures, DNA molecules.
In fact, it shows us that all life comes from a single source. All forms of life are therefore intimately connected to the Fleur de Vie, which also implies that all forms of life are interconnected.

How to use the Fleur de Vie?

First and foremost, it is a powerful tool for meditation. However, it can be used in many other ways in everyday life.
The Fleur de Vie can be used to energize water: simply pour water into a Fleur de Vie carafe and let it sit for a few hours before drinking.
The Fleur de Vie is a tool for purifying and recharging crystals. It can also be used to create crystal grids.
It helps preserve food, essential oils, and other substances that you want to harmonize and energize.
It can also be used to harmonize a space, such as a living room, waiting room, or office.
Furthermore, it is very pleasant to wear it; it helps maintain high energy levels throughout the day and provides protection, making us less sensitive to negative and unwanted energies.
You can choose to wear it as jewelry, like a pendant or a ring, or wear it on clothing, like a t-shirt.
If you like tattoos, you can get a Fleur de Vie tattooed on your body, and why not start with a temporary Fleur de Vie tattoo.
