This is an ancient symbol of sacred geometry. Today, the Flower of Life and its embryo, the seed of life, have multiple uses in dowsing, radionics, meditation, and as a talisman.

The flower of life is a very special symbol, but what is it exactly and how can it be used?

What is the purpose of the flower of life?

This sacred geometry symbol is so ancient that we do not truly know the origin of its creation. It has been identified in various places on Earth, at different times, in several sacred monuments.

The oldest known representation to date can be seen at the palace of King Assurbanipal in Dur-Sharrukin in Assyria, dating back to 645 BC.

Another representation of the flower of life was found on one of the granite columns of the Temple of Osiris in Abydos, an ancient Egyptian city.

Abydos is the most important place of worship of Osiris, the god of the Dead, and seemed to represent the passage to eternity for the ancient Egyptians. Abydos, as the cult center of Osiris, was the main gateway to the afterlife.

The symbol of the flower of life encompasses many geometric forms such as the Platonic solids, Metatron’s Cube, the Vesica Piscis, and even Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Vitruvian Man. This brings us into the realm of sacred geometry. These are shapes with perfect proportions, as can be observed in nature. Based on the Golden Ratio (PHI), they have allowed the construction of famous monuments such as pyramids, cathedrals, and ancient temples.

It is said to be present in absolutely everything, in cells, molecular structures… and to be the very origin of life.

The Platonic solids are five regular polyhedra that possess unique properties because they are the basis of all structures. They are the tetrahedron, the hexahedron (or cube), the octahedron, the dodecahedron, and the icosahedron.

These geometrical symbols are regular convex polyhedra and there are only five of them. To be regular, a polyhedron must have the same number of regular polygons at each of its vertices. Furthermore, the sum of the vertex angles of regular polygons must be strictly less than 360°.

From a mathematical point of view, the Euler’s formula (F + S – A = 2), where F is the number of faces, A is the number of edges, and S is the number of vertices, is verified for the Platonic solids.

In the field of energy, the Platonic solids are used for healing purposes as they help to perfect a person’s vibrational rate. They connect the chakras to universal energy, thus reinforcing the light bodies.

The Flower of Life is a sacred geometric pattern that contributes to raising the vibrational frequency of a person or a place. Geometric patterns are vibrations generated or amplified by a specific shape.

Flower of Life patterns can also be used for food and beverages, essential oils, etc…

How to use a Flower of Life?

This sacred symbol can be used in multiple ways. Its mere presence in a room has a harmonizing effect. It helps to elevate vibrations by restructuring what is discordant.

It contributes to revitalizing water and allows for better preservation of food.

It can serve as a talisman, worn as jewelry (pendant, bracelet, earrings…) or on our clothes. Some people choose this pattern as a tattoo. If you are not sure where on your body to get the Flower of Life tattooed, you can start with a temporary tattoo.

It can also be used as a support for meditation or to recharge stones and crystals.

It can be used to create crystal grids for healing and harmonization.

How to activate a Flower of Life?

In terms of spiritual energy, this sacred pattern is a vibration that connects us to the Authentic Source of all life, i.e. the divine.

To benefit from its beneficial properties, there is no need to activate it or do anything specific. It acts infinitely to rebalance our energies. The effects can be perceptible on the mental, physical, and emotional levels.

Lightworkers speak of activating the Flower of Life as part of energy work, to anchor the symbols.

But in everyday use, there is nothing special to do, except to send thoughts of love and harmony if one wishes to intensify its action.

How to draw a Flower of Life?

This geometric shape is formed by nineteen regular circles evenly spaced with symmetry.

Although at first glance this drawing may seem difficult to reproduce, it is actually quite easy once you understand how it is formed.

The essential tool is, of course, a compass, and a surface to draw on.

Take your compass and draw a first circle. While keeping the same distance, draw a second circle by placing the compass point on a point of the first circle’s outline. You will notice that the intersections are actually the centers of each circle.

Next, place the compass point on one of the intersections of the two previously drawn circles and draw a third circle. Continue to draw the four additional circles using the same method and you will then obtain the seed of life.

Then add 12 additional circles around the seed of life, following the same process.

Done? Great! Now all you have to do is add the semi-circles to complete the figure.

There you have it, it wasn’t that complicated after all!
